tiny deaths - If I’m Dreaming EP

tiny deaths is a Los Angeles based project of Claire de Lune, who specializes in making moody, dreamy pop songs. On her latest EP, If I’m Dreaming, de Lune blends hazy synths and echoey vocals to make a listener feel like the main character in a film. Faded pictures in a scrapbook and nostalgia-hazed road trips fit the aesthetic of tiny deaths and make her a compelling artist to listen to. Known for her breakup songs, de Lune has put a few on the EP but also tackles other issues. On “The Jump,” she questions whether or not fame corrupts people or if they were corrupt before they achieved stardom. De Lune creates a scintillating atmosphere that wraps around the listener and draws them into a world of dreamy synths.

Cristóvam - “Setting Sun”

Cristóvam is a Portuguese musician whose newest single, “Setting Sun'' is an acoustic masterpiece that blends with soothing synths and ocean noises to sculpt a listening experience. An acoustic guitar provided the main instrumentation and gave the illusion of a beach bonfire. Fans of Vance Joy would enjoy Cristóvam’s sound and lyricism as he sings about a love so captivating that the pair can weather storms they don’t even notice. Drawing from personal experiences, Cristóvam produces relatable music that connects with the listener immediately and gives them a place to call home.

TONYB. - “You Knew What This Was”

TONYB. is a singer/songwriter from Nashville, TN, and released a single entitled “You Knew What This Was,” which explores the idea of the modern ‘situationship.’ 90s and early 2000s R&B influences are clear to see in his sound, and his vocals are so smooth and glide across the melodies. Exploring the gray area between being friends and being more, TONYB. said about the song “This comes from the particular perspective of: I made my intentions clear, but you ignored them, so you knew what this was.”
